Rotation Schedule

Monday to Friday:

• 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (hospital rounds)

Saturdays/Sundays:

• Optional, 2 weekends per month for additional experience

Additional Activities:

• Attendance at didactics, lectures, and grand rounds may be required.
• Schedule provided at the beginning of the rotation.

Learning Opportunities

• Daily Inpatient Rounds: On Psychiatry, Behavioral Health, Addiction, and Deaddiction floors.
• Patient Evaluation: Participate in the evaluation and HPI (History of Present Illness) of admitted Psychiatry patients under supervision.
• Exposure to Behavioral Health: Gain exposure to behavioral mental health care in a hospital setting with a focus on diverse patient populations.
• Teamwork: Work directly with residents and fellows from the residency program in patient management.
• Clinical Skills Development: Learn how to formulate differential diagnoses, create treatment plans, and execute Rx plans under the guidance of attending physicians.
• US Health Care System: Understand the U.S. Health Care system and enhance your clinical skills in psychiatric care.

Payment Policy

• Full payment is due 6 weeks before the rotation start date.

Refunds:

• 50% refund for cancellations made 4+ weeks before the start date.
• No refunds within 4 weeks of the start date.
