Hands-on cardiology rotation at Mount Sinai & NYU Langone-affiliated hospitals and clinics, including exposure to diagnostics, procedures, and interdisciplinary care.
Rotation Schedule
Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Learning Opportunities
Review daily patient schedules and case files
Observe and assist in history-taking, physical exams, and diagnostics
Exposure to EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and other cardiac diagnostics
Occasional inpatient shadowing – hospital-based cardiology cases
Participate in case discussions and treatment planning with attending physician
Interdisciplinary collaboration with nurses, medical assistants, and hospital staff
Cardiac imaging & diagnostics exposure in real-world clinical setting
