How do we work :

It’s a 4 week Research modules. In the first week, concise Research training program is taught by experts. 

And the next 3 weeks cover the practical research in which you work under the mentor to publish your own research.

Session 1 Includes:

The first session covers the basics, including an introduction to Meta-Analysis and specific guidance on the steps involved. This includes:

  • Revising literature review and search strategies
  • Creating data extraction tables
  • Understanding PRISMA guidelines
  • Addressing publication bias
  • Conducting quality assessments
  • A Q&A session

 

Session 2 Includes:

  • Revising day one’s material
  • REVMAN or Review Manager
  • OpenMeta-analyst
  • Comprehensive meta-Analyst
  • STATA
  • A Q&A session

 

Session 3 includes:

  • Revision of day two’s content
  • Manuscript writing
  • Finalizing projects
  • A Q&A session

Our expert instructors will provide in-depth training on the latest software tools. 

And, the techniques used in narrative and systematic reviews, including EndNote, Covidence, and RevMan. 

You’ll also learn how to use meta-analysis and other statistical methods to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions.

At the end of the program, you’ll be equipped with the skills to write and finalize manuscripts.

That helping you to publish in high-impact journals and further your career in residency programs, research fellowships, PhD programs, and MPH programs.

Each module spans 4 weeks for a Narrative Literature Review Article and 6 to 8 weeks for a Meta-analysis.

How are the teaching sessions conducted?

We conduct Microsoft Teams teaching sessions, scheduled based on task progress and candidates’ efficiency. Sessions accommodate various time zones, and recordings are provided in case of scheduling conflicts.

What happens on the module's start date?

On the start date, a virtual classroom is established, and the mentor assigns distinct tasks to initiate the research process.

What is the timeline for paper completion and publication?

Draft submissions align with weekly deadlines, followed by mentor editing. The paper is usually completed in 4 to 6 weeks, with publication spanning 8 to 10 weeks.

Are the journals PubMed indexed?

Yes, all journals used for publication are PubMed indexed, ensuring high-quality publications with commendable impact factors.

Who is responsible for publication charges like APC (Article Processing Charges)?

We take responsibility for publication charges, including APC, ensuring a seamless and cost-free publication process for participants.

How are authorship positions assigned in research modules?

Authorship positions are determined based on our criteria aligned with ICMJE guidelines, considering factors such as work ethics, proactiveness within the group, assisting fellow candidates, meeting deadlines, and providing extensive support to the mentor.

What factors influence the ranking of authors?

Proactiveness within the module’s group, collaborative efforts, meeting deadlines, and offering substantial assistance to the mentor are pivotal factors in achieving a prominent authorship position.

Is there a specific framework for assigning authorship positions?

Yes, we uphold an equitable opportunity framework, ensuring that every candidate has a fair chance to attain the first author position.

How is work ethics considered in authorship assignment?

Can candidates influence their authorship ranking?

Absolutely. Candidates can enhance their authorship position by actively participating, aiding peers, meeting deadlines, and providing substantial assistance to the mentor.

Is there a specific timeline for authorship assignment?

Authorship positions are assessed throughout the module based on ongoing contributions, with final rankings determined upon completion of the research project.

What are the fees for the Narrative Review Article Research Training Program?

The fees vary based on the participant's status:
- Medical students and Medical Graduates: $840
- Residents: $1000
- Fellows: $1100
- Physicians: $1250

How about the fees for the Systematic/Meta-Analysis Research Training Program?

The fees for this program are as follows:
- Medical students and Medical Graduates: $1358
- Residents: $1558
- Fellows: $1658
- Physicians: $1858

Is there a scholarship program available?

Yes, we offer a 50% scholarship to countries identified as Underrepresented in Medicine (UIM). Eligible countries include Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, India, Mexico, Nepal, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

How can eligible participants apply for the scholarship?

Participants from eligible countries will automatically be considered for the 50% scholarship when applying for the research training programs.

Are there additional costs not covered by the fees?

The fees cover the entire program, including publication charges. There are no additional hidden costs.

Can the payment be made in installments?

We currently do not offer installment plans; however, we are open to discussing individual circumstances and finding suitable solutions.
