Rotation Schedule
Start Time: Varies per day
Hospital Rounds (Monday to Friday):
- 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Round on patients in general medical floor, ICU, CCU, and step-down units under the supervision of the Pulmonary Chief of Critical Care.
Weekend Duty (2 weekends/month):
- Rotating schedule on Saturdays and Sundays.
Outpatient Clinics:
- 1-2 times per week for approximately 4 hours.
Additional Activities:
- Students may be required to attend didactics, lectures, and grand rounds. Schedules will be provided by attending physicians at the start of the rotation.
Learning Opportunities
- Ventilator Management: Learn to manage critically ill patients, including those on ventilators.
- Acid-Base and Electrolyte Management: Gain experience in treating complex cases related to acid-base balance and electrolyte disorders.
- Hands-On Clinical Exposure: Manage patients on the medical floor, ICU, and CCU, participating in diagnosis and treatment planning under supervision.
- Patient Interaction: Interact with diverse patients, perform detailed history taking and physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.
- Discharge Planning: Participate in patient discharge planning and execution.
- US Health Care System: Gain insight into the workings of the US Health Care system, preparing you for the USMLE and residency.

Payment Policy
- Full payment due 6 weeks before the start date.
- Alternatively, you may pay the entire rotation fee at the start without a deposit.
Cancellation Policy:
- 50% refund if canceled more than 4 weeks before the start date.
- No refunds within 4 weeks of the start date.
