Rotation Schedule
Start Time: Varies per day
Monday to Friday:
- Participate in daily surgeries in the OR and observe bedside procedures like central line insertion.
- Perform pre-op preparation and patient evaluations on the floor.
- Attend Surgery seminars, Morbidity and Mortality conferences.
Outpatient Clinics:
- 1-2 times per week for about 4 hours.
Additional Activities:
- Students may also attend didactics, lectures, and grand rounds.
Learning Opportunities
- Hands-On Clinical Experience: Work closely with the Chief of Surgery and other attending physicians in a variety of surgical cases.
- Comprehensive Patient Interaction: Perform detailed history taking, physical examinations, and develop treatment plans under supervision.
- Daily Patient Care: Follow up on all patients and participate in discharge planning.
- Surgical Exposure: Gain exposure to various surgeries and procedures performed in the OR.
- Morbidity and Mortality Conferences: Participate and learn from real-life clinical discussions.

Payment Policy
- Full payment due 6 weeks before the start date.
Cancellation Policy:
- 50% refund if canceled more than 4 weeks before the start date.
- No refunds within 4 weeks of the start date.
